Sick Visits at CHCSCT
A sick visit is to diagnose and treat your illness or injury quickly and safely. Your provider will assess your symptoms, develop a treatment plan, prescribe medications, and offer guidance and education.
This can include
- Evaluation and Diagnosis: Your provider can figure out what’s wrong.
- Treatment Planning: Develop a treatment plan for you.
- Medication Prescriptions: Can prescribe medications to relieve your symptoms.
- Diagnostic Tests: They may order diagnostic tests to gather more information.
- Minor Procedures: Some health centers can perform minor procedures on-site.
- Health Education: They may offer guidance on managing your illness.
- Referrals: They can refer you to a specialist or arrange for additional diagnostic tests.
- Follow-up Care: They may recommend a follow-up visit to monitor your progress.
